A giant hand painted sign was unveiled this morning as part of the Love Letters from Limerick project. Featuring the title of local band The Cranberries’ first album, the unveiling of the sign is the culmination of a celebration of traditional hand painted signs. Over the past week Limerick has welcomed 10 of the world’s leading sign artists from the United States, the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland.

The events included the special large scale ‘ghost sign’ project that has been created by internationally-renowned sign artist, Sean Starr, in collaboration with Limerick’s Tom Collins.
